There are almost 40 students, crammed together in a humbly furnished classroom, with only a couple of simple benches.
Toch is de stemming vaak uitbundig en zeer vriendschappelijk.
Yet the mood is often exuberant and very friendly. The students come from all over the Jinja area and participate in the two-week training of the Tjeko Academy. During this training they learn, amongst other things, leadership skills, how to communicate effectively with children when providing active lessons, personal development and park management. It is a special group of students, assisted by an even more special Tjeko team from Uganda. Tatiana van den Bergh and Mirai van den Burg support the Academy from Tjeko Netherlands. Next week thousands of children will play during the Fun Fair days. We’re looking forward to it!
