Last week, twelve alumni showed up to be trained for the Radio Programme.
We started with an energizer called the memory game. To see if the alumni remembered each other’s names. It was a lot of fun and broke the ice!
During the training we focused on a number of important themes that are involved in performing the radio program.
We dived into communication, time management, writing skills, listening skills and teamwork. Beautiful subjects that we think are very important to properly transfer the program to the children.
Four staff members have joined the training and one of the them speaks Lunganda. Normally during the radio program we speak one language “Lusoga”. We decided not to miss this opportunity and add a mix of both languages to reach even more children who listen to the radio.
